CamDoT Badges

As part of CamDoT we will be offering participants the chance to collect badges which showcase the skills they have developed over the course. The badges can be displayed on your online portfolio and offer a chance to demonstrate your achievements to a wider audience.

We have three levels of badge available so there is something for everyone, no matter what your skill level. Badges will be awarded when participants have fulfilled the criteria set out below.

CamDoT Hatched badge

#CamDoT Hatched can be awarded from day 2 onwards. To be awarded this badge participants must:

  • set up a Twitter profile
  • have sent at least 5 tweets, one of which should be Joining in with #CamDoT

CamDot Flying Badge

#CamDoT Flying can be awarded from day 7 onwards. To be awarded this badge participants must:

  • have completed the Hatched badge
  • follow at least 15 people
  • send at least 3 @messages
  • send at least 3 retweets
  • use a hashtag to take part in a conversation

CamDoT Soaring Badge

#CamDoT Soaring can be awarded from day 10 onwards. This badge is available to all participants but may be especially useful for those who already used Twitter prior to the course and are looking to consolidate their skills. To be awarded this badge participants must:

  • have completed the Soaring badge
  • create a public Twitter list
  • have explored at least one tool for managing Twitter information
  • create and share a Twitter archive
